raum.zeit is a series of photographs addressing two physical phenomena, time and space. Seperated into two parts, ».raum« and ».zeit«, both consist of digital photographs and alu-dibond fineart prints.
With ».zeit« as the philosophical brother of ».raum«, I have explored ways to display time and it’s characteristics. How could i communicate that time is a construct, a measuring tool for humans to sequence events? Time is being viewed as a fundamental part of our universe, so I guess it’s worth an examination. When I assume that time persists in »frames«, a being of quantized nature, it might look like a film strip.
